Col'Cacchio Camps Bay

Col'Cacchio is a popular Italian restaurant chain with several branches in Cape Town, but surely none so beautifully situated as the Camps Bay branch. Located on the beachfront road in Camps Bay, Col'Cacchio offers views of the ocean, mountains, and the palm studded beach.

The restaurant itself is often busy which lends it a bustling ambiance. The decor is open and clean, with wide glass doors offering views and tables filling every open spot. 

Col'Cacchio is primarily a pizza restaurant but there are several salad and pasta options on the menu. The pizza is good and normally toppings are generous. There are some unusual combos and you can easily split your pizza among different toppings.

They do not take bookings for after 18:30 but will take your name and number in order to give you preference once you do arrive. Strange but true.

• Remember that the guys are normally quite happy to create a pizza that is split in half between two styles
