One of the best gems of Camps Bay is Sinful Ice-cream Emporium, hidden in the promenade building behind the main beach. Flavours range from traditional to ‘Out of Africa’ (koeksisters and amarula) to ‘White chocolate and poppy seed’. Sinful's ice-cream is rates as among the best in Cape Town so it's a worth while stop if you're in Camps Bay.
The ice-cream is rich so for most 1 or 2 Scoops (R12) is sufficient and you may have difficulty choosing! Buy your ice-cream and then eat it while taking a stroll along the beach – perfect addition to the day at the beach. The shop is open late so is perfect for sunset strolls too.
Tips
- The staff normally allow you little tasters if you are unsure of which flavor to go for - take advantage of this!
Getting There
- Sinful is in the building above Pick n Pay on Camps Bay Main Road - on the far left if you are facing the ocean
- Head along Camps Bay Main Road away from Lions Head until you see the white center with Pick n Pay and some other restaurants
- Sinful is tucked away upstairs in this center
Good ice cream, but
Sinful has good ice cream and a great location, but dont go overboard. I find the ice cream too fatty and one scoop more than enough

Totally delicious, i could eat litres of the coconut ice cream.... and do... and the almond tart is to die for.... i'd love the recipe...

THE MOST DELECTABLE FLAVOUR IS THE PISTACHIO ICECREAM,AND I AM VERY ADDICTED TO IT,MY WEEKEND IS NOT COMPLETE IF I HAVENT BEEN SINFULL
