Royale Eatery

Café Royale is a popular burger restaurant on Long Street. They are famous for having a large selection of burgers with some original options on the menu. There are chicken and vegetarian options, but in general these are large and tasty meat burgers. Expect to find options like:

• Big Bird (Ostrich Patty Burger with Beetroot Relish)
• Fat Bastard (Double Stack Burger with Cheese and Bacon)
• Miss Piggy Burger (Burger with Bacon and Avocado)
• Pedro el Niño (four-chilli relish and guacamole)
• Norwood (mushroom, three cheeses, green peppercorn sauce)

Burgers come with a choice of fries, potato wedges or sweet potato chips. You'll also get sweet chilli sauce, tomato sauce, and sourcream condiments.

Although it is principally a burger place, Royale also serves popular pizzas and milkshakes. The staff are slow and relaxed, but generally friendly.

Royale is often full and you may need to wait for a table. In fact, they have opened a club upstairs known as The Waiting Room which has become pretty popular.
