Toni's is a Portuguese / Mozambican restaurant on Kloof Street. The food is relatively good and the prices are generally excellent. For example, at the moment you can get a tasty chicken prego roll for R29.
Service is generally efficient but patrons should remember that this is a quick and cheap restaurant that serves good food but does not specialize in luxury.
There are tables inside and outside with the outside tables overlooking the busy Kloof Street.
Tips
- You can have your mains with rice or chips. Don't assume that your choice comes with rice - the default appears to be chips for all meals so specify rice if that is what you would like
Getting There
Toni's is on the right as you head up Kloof Street.
- Get onto Kloof Street and drive towards the mountain
- Go past Saigon and Yindees at the intersection with Camp
- Toni's is on the right across the road from the highschool (next to Zucca)
- If you reach Melissa's then you've gone too far
Good food, really good value
Good food, really good value for money, service is seriously lacking though, lost a bit of it's atmosphere when they refurbed. Best Chicken Peri Peri in town, give this one a go!
