Andiamo is an Italian restaurant and deli in the Cape Quarter (Green Point) which has a bustling ambiance and setting. The tables are set up in the sheltered courtyard along with those of several other restaurants and shops.
There are heaters and blankets on offer for cooler evenings and the outside setting is great on warmer evenings. Staff is average and the food is mostly tasty.
Pricing is reasonable and there is a lot on offer including: salads, tramezzinis and antipasti, to pizza, pasta, meat and seafood. Here is a link to the menu
Tips
- If you are cold then don't forget that there are blankets on offer
- Don't forget that there is a huge deli on offer inside the store
- Try to book ahead of time as this restaurant can get very busy
Getting There
- Andiamo is the biggest restaurant in the Cape Quarter courtyard
- To get the Cape Quarter head up the hill from Somerset on Dixon Street (Alfred street will also get you there)
- The entrance to the parking garage is on Dixon (on your left) or you can try to find parking on the street
Desserts are expensive
Andiamo's desserts are quite expensive - nothing under R30
Takeaways
Andiamo do takeaways - just phone ahead to make an oder. You may struggle to get parking when picking up your meal though
