Fiesta is a restaurant and bar in the Cape Quarter that specializes in tapas. There is a fairly large tapas menu as well as several main course options including fish, burgers, and sandwiches. Fiesta has a bar area and an extensive cocktail menu.
The tapas menu is not particularly large (view on their website), but is normally augmented by a specials menu that includes several tapas options. The tapas menu includes items such as grilled mushrooms with gorgonzola, lamb skewers with fig, chili poppers, fish cakes, corn cakes, and meatballs.
The restaurant itself has been designed with a relaxed, mediteranean feel. There are several tables set up in the Cape Quarter courtyard as well as along the length of the restaurant. There is a TV inside which often shows sports.
Fiesta also hosts live entertainment on Thursday and Friday nights. On most Thursdays there is live music while Friday nights are dedicated to Salsa nights. Starting at 22:00 the tables inside are moved aside to make way for dancing.
- If possible head to Fiesta on Thursday or Friday to take advantage of the live entertainment
- During winter there are several specials available Monday to Wednesday. For example every main course receives a free glass of wine.
- From Buitengracht (CBD) get onto Strand Street towards Signal Hill
- Soon after you start heading up the hill look out for a right into Hudson Street (after Chiappini Street)
- First left into Waterkant Street
- The entrance to the Cape Quarter is on your right before you reach Hudson Street
- Fiesta is on your left as you enter the courtyard (opposite Andiamo)

My girlfriend and i had a great night out that was fantastic value. we each had the special of 2 tapas and a glass of house wine for R50! The food was delicious, service great and even the house red tasted good.
