Thorfyns is the restaurant at the beautiful Monkey Valley resort in Noordhoek. With a view of the spectacular Noordhoek Beach (from the deck) and a real country feel this is a fun restaurant which is not particularly well known.
There is a fairly large menu offering salads, steaks, seafood, bobotie, pastas and pizzas. Pizza and pasta are fairly cheap and the steaks and some seafood items are get fairly pricey - over R100 for some items.
Breakfast is served all day.
Tips
- A visit to Thorfyns can easily be combined with a good walk along the Noordhoek Beach
Getting There
- Monkey Valley is fairly well signposted from within Noordhoek
- From Noordhoek Main Road (Chapmans Peak Street) turn into Avondrust (last left before Chapmans Peak starts)
- First right into Beach Road which becomes Mountain Road
- There are signs to Monkey Valley which is at the end of Mountain Road
