Obz Café is a café, cocktail bar, restaurant and theatre venue on Lower Main Road in Observatory. They are well known for their milkshakes but there is a lot more going on at Obz Café than that! There is an extensive menu, a wide cocktail selection and even a theatre!
There is a fairly extensive menu offering light meals throughout the day - breakfasts, salads, pastas, tramazinis, burgers, seafood, and tappas. There is a menu (without prices on the website)
The Obz Café Theatre puts on plays, music, and comedy shows. Check out the website (above) to see what is on offer at the moment. Tickets are generally pretty reasonable and this can make a fun outing.
- Obz Café is located on Lower Main Road in Observatory
- From Main Road in Rondebosch if you are heading towards Obs look out for the MacDonalds on the right
- Just before MacDonalds take the right fork and you're on Obs Main Road
- Obz Café is on your left before the traffic light - it has wide glass fronting
- There is parking around the block but finding a spot can be tricky
- Take the Train: Using the Fish Hoek / Simon's Town line, get out at Observatory
