Newbie Bowls is an organisation which organizes and facilitates lawn bowls parties and functions. The aim is to introduce people to the sport of lawn bowls in a fun group environment. There are two package options both of which include a quick lesson, use of the clubhouse and all equipment. Groups can range from 6 to 108 people.
The basic "Harry Casual" package for 6 to 18 players includes just the basics - a quick lesson, all equipment and use of the facilities. This package allows for 2 hours of play.
The "Full Monty" (R120 each) option is available for 12 to 108 players and includes an exciting tournament, marshals, prize giving, music, and a welcome drink. This option generally allows for 2 - 2.5 hours of play.
There are also conference and party facilities available. It seems that many of the customers are team building and corporate events.

- The site recommends getting onto the M5 South from the N2
- Take the Kromboom off-ramp and go right (towards the mountain)
