La Vie is a relaxed restaurant/bistro on the Beach Front in Sea Point. They serve pizza, pasta, steak, and salads. La Vie also have several large screen TV's showing sporting events and the open restaurant with large bar add to the relaxed atmosphere.
There are several tables set up patio area outside alongside the road with views of the promenade and ocean.
Getting There
- La Vie is on Beach Road in Sea Point, alongside the promenade
- If you get onto Beach Road heading away from the city then La Vie is on your left fairly close to the junction with Glengariff
- Look out for red and white signs and the umbrellas on the patio area

Fantastic venue, but some of
Fantastic venue, but some of the worst service in Cape Town, a real let down, they ride on their location by offering average and poor service

Location is good ...
and have nice couches to sit outside and enjoy a sundowner on a summers day, but the food is not that great. Service I have found to be ok.

I don't knkow what you guys mean with the service is not that great. Everytime I go there I find the waiters to be friendly and open... and the best steak in town!
