Posticino

Posticino is a popular and relaxed Italian restaurant in Sea Point. It has a bustling and fun ambiance with tables packed into every corner and murals on the walls. The diminutive owner is often seen moving around the restaurant chatting loudly to regulars and moving tables around to keep people happy.

The food is reasonably priced and tastes good but because of the popularity of the place food can take quite a while - booking is essential on most nights. When the weather is good tables are set up on the open patio area overlooking the busy Sea Point Main Rd.

Posticino is very much a relaxed and 'just get on with it' kind of place which makes for a fun night out - this is not fine dining! But it is the kind of place that will make that weird salad that you ask for.
