Sea Point Pool

The Sea Point swimming pool must be one of the most beautiful outdoor pools around. It is a filtered salt water, Olympic sized pool alongside the Atlantic Ocean. The complex includes the main pool, lawns, showers, a diving pool and kiddies pools. Although not heated the pool is generally pretty warm in summer but it does get chilly during winter.

It can get pretty busy before and after work, and especially on sunny weekends so take that into consideration. When this happens people are generally very happy to share lanes even if some dodging is necessary.

• The pool can get pretty busy (before and after work). Because there are no physical lanes you will need to be a little pushy to get into a lane. People are generally relaxed and happy to share a swimming area.
• Because the setting is so beautiful it can be quite nice to hang around in the sun after your swim. Take along a towel, sun cream and a book to enjoy the location.
