Mitchells Waterfront Brewery is a bar, restaurant and actual brewery at the V&A Waterfront. Located in one of the oldest buildings in the area Mitchells is a relaxed place with an English pub feel.
There are several beers available including their own Forester`s Lager and Bosun`s Ale. There is a fairly large menu including lasagna, pizza, fish and chips, burgers, steaks, snacks and salads.
Mitchells has tables set up outside and in the fairly large downstairs and upstairs sections. There are several large flat-screen TV's located in the upstairs section of Mitchells and it is a fairly popular venue for watching sport.
Getting There
- Mitchells is located on Dock road near at the Waterfront
- If you are at the Waterfront leave the buildings and keep right towards the road
- Mitchells will be on your left and is a large stone building
- If you are driving towards the Waterfront along Dock Road then Mitchells is on your right just before the road rises to a traffic circle
Beer outlets
It used to be possible to obtain Mitchell's Beers in Gauteng, but other than the lager in Makro I have not seen it recently. Is there still an agent in the Johannesburg area?
Mitchell's Bar in flim
