Activities in Chapmans Peak

Chapmans Peak is one of Cape Town's most famous mountains because there is a beautiful cliff-top road running along the mountain with amazing views of Hout Bay and the mountains. However, Chapmans Peak is also a fairly easy hike offering even better views than the road.

Chapmans Peak Drive is the scenic and mountainous road between Hout Bay and Noordhoek. The 9km route goes around 114 curves as it skirts the cliffs of Chapmans Peak overlooking the Atlantic. The views are spectacular and this is a particularly popular scenic drive.
