Boo Radleys is a vibey bar and restaurant in Hout Street (close to Long Street). Boo Radleys includes a bar area which is fairly popular especially later in the evenings. There is also a restaurant area.
Carlyles is a busy Italian restaurant in Vredehoek. It has a large smoking section and a bar area which gets quite rowdy at times - it has a bit of a party atmosphere. There are quieter tables in the lower section of the restaurant for the more relaxed, but it seems that this party atmosphere is what draws many people.
