Die Strandloper is a superb open air seafood restaurant in Langebaan (about 125km up the west coast from Cape Town). It is a relaxed place on the beach of the Langebaan Lagoon with a sandy floor and tables arranged around the central fish braai. Meals are served over a leisurely three to four hour period and apart from the crayfish everything is eat as much as you like.

Lazari is a small vibey café in Vredehoek and very close to the Gardens Center. There is a small but excellent menu chalked up on the wall which offers breakfasts, pastas, sandwiches and crispy pitas. The food is of a high quality and the prices are very reasonable.
